Amazing!

The girls have been asking to learn how to knit for a couple years now. Every once in a while I'll get out their needles and we'll sit down and work a few stitches. Up until now, that's all their attention span would allow. Today, however, J stuck with it through a whole row. Then she came back 10 minutes later to do another. She's making a doll blanket.

I showed her how to do 3 stitches, and then she was demanding to do it herself. I had to help her hold the needles for a couple stitches, but then she was doing it on her own!

Here's her knitting so far: 36 stitches down, a zillion to go. Way to go, sweetheart!
